Hola Cupcakes!

Today, I have a question for you? What kind of make up addicts are you? Do you collect nail-colors, eye shadows, eye-liners, Kohl , lipsticks/glosses, blushes? What is that 1 thing which feels like a part of you? For me a good Kajal/Kohl does it. I love wearing Kohls and I love flaunting my eyes. I have received SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy-Duty Kohl, 01 Back to Black (Black) in my November Fab bag and I cant wait to review it for you. Read on and enjoy the read.

My Take on SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy-Duty Kohl, 01 Back to Black:

Packaging: The SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy-Duty Kohl comes in a pencil with cap. Sugar provides a sharpener along with this kohl. A cardboard box cover packaging with Sugar branding makes it look super cool. I wish they come up with a twist up pen as sharpening leads to product wastage.
Consistency: The formula is soft, creamy and glides like butter on my eyes. But it is too creamy to create a sharp look.

Pigmentation: What hasn’t been spoken about this gorgeous Kohl by fellow bloggers? I am totally in love with the pigmentation. Undoubtedly it is the most pigmented Kohl I have ever come across.

I know a pigmented Kajal when I use it. One swipe is required to attain the darkest black color by using Sugar’s heavy-duty Kohl. I have used this product straight for 30 days and have been impressed through and through with the quality. I have worn this Kohl to a wedding for an entire day and was impressed with the staying power of upto 10 hours.

Having said that, this Kohl is too creamy to stay put and smudges eventually if I accidentally rub my eyes. However, it makes the Sugar heavy-duty Kohl  “the goddess” to create smokey eyes and add drama. Neat look will not be a hit with this Kohl as the tip is extremely flat. While wearing it to work I apply it only on my lash line and not on my eyelids to avoid a stark Kohl look.

Sugar heavy duty kohl should be applied without exerting too much pressure on hands; else the creamy tip tends to break off leading to product wastage. I feel it is a little heavier on pocket, but the pigmentation justifies the quality of this black beauty.
